Cardi B has added ‘Don’t Chart’ to Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the 34-track companion record Rockstar Games is putting out with Atlantic Records, and it arrives together with Fuerza Regida’s ‘Suzuki’ as the seventh and eighth songs released so far. The title is an odd fit for a rollout that has turned most of its singles into chart entries.

Atlantic says Morgan Wallen’s ‘Last Thing You Need’ debuted inside the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, the label’s biggest soundtrack launch to date. Rauw Alejandro’s ‘Macacoa 2000’ opened in the top 10 of Hot Latin Songs, and ‘Sexy Magic’, the CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy collaboration, reached the top 10 of Hot Dance/Electronic Songs. A song called ‘Don’t Chart’ lands in the middle of that streak like a dare, whether or not Cardi B meant it as one.

She comes to the project with real commercial weight. Her second album, Am I the Drama?, opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with about 200,000 equivalent units, which made her the first female rapper to see her first two albums debut at the top, according to chart reports at the time. NME describes the new track as a swaggering, playful rap song, and the German outlet The Circle hears a forceful rap delivered with a relaxed attitude, a showcase for her self-assured side.

The album sits apart from the game’s radio. Rockstar frames the 34 songs as originals that capture the energy of Vice City and the wider state of Leonida, while the in-game stations, the first six of which the studio named this week, will carry their own selection of licensed music. The roster so far reaches from Travis Scott and Yung Lean with Future and Metro Boomin to Keith Richards, a spread that reads more like a festival bill than a tie-in record.

There are gaps the announcement does not fill. Neither Rockstar nor Atlantic has published producer or songwriter credits for ‘Don’t Chart’, and nobody has said where the song will sit inside the game, which matters: a game track lives or dies by how often players hear it while driving, not by its first streaming week. It is also a soundtrack contribution, not a sign of a third Cardi B album, and no follow-up to Am I the Drama? has been announced. The game itself launches only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so PC players everywhere will hear the song on streaming services long before they hear it in Vice City.

The single itself is available worldwide on the major streaming platforms. Vinyl and CD editions of the album are on pre-order, with Atlantic-exclusive pressings and retailer variants at Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, Barnes & Noble, Urban Outfitters and independent record stores, most of them US-based.

‘Don’t Chart’ appeared on streaming services on October 8, 2026, roughly a year after Am I the Drama? came out in September 2025. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is due on November 19, 2026, the same day as the game, and 26 of its 34 tracks have yet to be announced.
