Martin Cid Magazine operates as an international cultural and entertainment publication across 21 markets. These ethical commitments govern our editorial conduct.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made by editorial staff. They are not influenced by commercial relationships, advertising partnerships, or sponsored content arrangements.

Sponsored content, when it appears in MCM, is clearly labeled as such, visually distinguished from editorial work, and never presented as independent journalism. Our advertising program operates as a separate function from our newsroom.

We do not accept payment, gifts, or favors in exchange for editorial coverage. We do not modify or remove published articles in response to commercial pressure. We do not offer guaranteed positive coverage as part of any commercial relationship.

Accuracy and accountability

Our reporting is grounded in verified information. We attribute claims. We distinguish between fact, analysis, and opinion. We correct errors openly and document them. See our Corrections Policy.

Sources

We protect confidential sources. We do not publish unverified accusations against private individuals. We do not republish claims made under coercion.

When we cite sources — research papers, public statements, industry data — we link to them where possible.

Conflicts of interest

Editorial staff disclose conflicts of interest in their reporting. Where a conflict cannot be managed through disclosure, the assignment is reassigned. We do not allow personal financial interests, family relationships, or undisclosed affiliations to shape coverage.

AI tools and editorial responsibility

We use AI tools as part of our editorial process — for translation, research, drafting assistance, and quality control across 21 languages. Every published article passes through human editorial review. Editorial responsibility for what we publish rests with our editorial staff, not with the tools they use.

Coverage we do not undertake

We do not cover electoral politics, partisan political campaigns, active armed conflicts, or sectarian religious disputes. These editorial limits are deliberate and apply across all 21 editions.
