What buyers get at that price is Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chip, a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, and a triple-camera system led by a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation, a secondary ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. The battery is 4,900mAh with 45W wired charging.

The Exynos 2500 includes dedicated AI acceleration, which Samsung has built into One UI 9’s photo and video processing — on-device enhancement that runs without internet access. The S26 FE also ships with a 12MP front camera and a seven-year software and security update promise, matching the commitment Samsung made for the Galaxy S25 series.

The S26 FE is Samsung’s mid-year refresh of its flagship line. Whether Samsung left enough room between the S26 FE and the base Galaxy S26 to make ‘Fan Edition’ still carry meaning is the question this event needs to answer.
