The title track finds Smith rapping. “I Lied, You Lied” blends funky house, jazz and Afro House into a single movement. “Dancing” is percussion-forward, built on a rumba foundation. The opening track “For Life” sets the register early: this is dance music that carries the emotional weight usually allocated to quieter work.
