Hallmark

Hallmark Media is the American entertainment company behind Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Mystery, Hallmark Family and the streaming service Hallmark+. A subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, the Kansas City greeting-card company, it is based in Studio City, Los Angeles, and operated as Crown Media Holdings until 2022.

Its name has become shorthand for a genre of its own: the made-for-television romance, above all the Christmas movie, which its channels programme for weeks at the end of every year. Its prestige line, the Hallmark Hall of Fame, began in 1951 and is the longest-running prime-time series in the history of television.
