Universal Pictures is the oldest surviving film studio in the United States, founded in 1912 by Carl Laemmle. From the classic monsters of the 1930s to Jaws, Jurassic Park, Fast & Furious and Oppenheimer, its catalogue spans the whole history of the blockbuster.

Part of NBCUniversal (Comcast), it remains one of Hollywood’s most prolific major studios.
