Spy Ops is a docuseries now streaming on Netflix produced by Big Media, the same production company behind Spycraft and Hitler’s Gold.

If you’re interested in the world of covert operations, the CIA, or what happened to Bin Laden, this series is a must-watch. From the very beginning, we are introduced to the CIA operative who was tasked with finding and, as he was told, “bringing back Bin Laden’s head in an ice bag.

It’s a treat for news enthusiasts as we delve into topics such as the Taliban, nuclear warheads, the invasion of Panama, numerous special forces, the KGB (yes, with direct references to a certain leader), the Mossad, and even an assassination attempt on Pope John Paul II. The series concludes with the story of a Soviet submarine (K-129) that ended up at the bottom of the sea.

Classified secrets, interviews with special mission operatives and high-ranking intelligence officials – “Spy Ops” provides us with a wealth of information from highly reliable sources. While it leaves many questions unanswered, the series presents us with so much compelling information that it’s hard to ignore.

Yes, Netflix’s programming lineup includes many “trashy” shows and series of mediocre quality, but for series like this, it’s worth every penny. It’s a full-fledged investigative documentary with access to firsthand sources.

Misiones de espionaje es una docuserie que ahora se emite en Netflix producida por Big Media, la misma productora detrás de Spycraft y Hitler’s Gold.

Si os gusta el mundo de las operaciones encubiertas, de la CIA, si os interesa qué pasó con Bin Laden, seáis de los que creéis que hay una conspiración detrás de todo o confiéis ciegamente en los gobiernos… una serie totalmente imprescindible.

Nada más empezar, nos presentan al hombre de la CIA que fue encargado de encontrar y, cómo le dijeron, “regresar con la cabeza de Bin Laden en una bolsa de hielo”.

Una auténtica delicia para los aficionados a las noticias: tenemos talibanes, cabezas nucleares, la invasión de Panamá, muchas fuerzas especiales, la KGB (sí, y con directas referencias a cierto líder), el MOSADun atentado contra el papa Juan Pablo II… para terminar con un submarino soviético (el K-129) que terminó en el fondo del mar.

Secretos clasificados, entrevistas con los protagonistas de las misiones especiales y los altos cargos de las agencias de inteligencia… muchas preguntas en el aire, sí, pero “Misiones de espionaje” nos arroja tantísima información y de fuentes tan fiables que, cuanto menos, deja muchísimas cuestiones en el aire.

Sí, en la parrilla de programación de Netflix hay muchos programas “basura” y series de no muy alta calidad, es cierto, pero por series como ésta merece la pena lo que cuesta: todo un documental de investigación con acceso a las fuentes directas.
