‘Next Goal Wins‘ is a biographical sports comedy-drama directed by Taika Waititi, and starring stars Michael Fassbender, Oscar Kightley, Kaimana, David Fane, among others. The film was inspired on a 2014 documentary, and it is scheduled for release in theaters on November 17th.

Premise

The American Samoa soccer team, renowned for their abysmal performance in a 2001 FIFA match where they suffered a crushing defeat with a score of 31-0. Thomas Rongen is tasked with leading the team to an elite squad.
