Storyline

It revolves around Alice Hart, a young girl who tragically loses her parents in a mysterious fire. Es una adaptación de la novela escrita por la autora australiana Holly Ringland y ha sido hábilmente adaptada a la pantalla por la showrunner de la serie Sarah Lambert. Los siete episodios están dirigidos por Glendyn Ivin.

La nueva serie protagonizada por Sigourney Weaver ya está entre nosotros y es todo lo que esperan los fans de la actriz de Nueva York: una conmovedora y dramática historia en la que la actriz brilla con luz propia en una también brillante producción a nivel de interpretación, decorados y guion.

Advertencia: es todo un drama, bellísimamente filmado, pero todo un drama sobre el maltrato infantil y las heridas abiertas.

Sobre la serie

Desde sus primeros compases se puede ver, y la serie no engaña para nada: es una serie con una factura excelente, magnífica, con una fotografía cuidadísima y un trabajo de producción excelente.

¿Merece la pena? A nivel estético, absolutamente. Es una delicia desde el primer fotograma, pero también una cinta con la sensibilidad tan a flor de piel que echará atrás a aquellos espectadores que no quieran adentrarse en los confines de la niñez, los sentimientos y, sobre todo, la exploración de los traumas.

Una serie también femenina, profundamente femenina, escrita desde la sensibilidad de las generaciones y desde el respeto por lo natural, con unos paisajes maravillosos y unas actrices que dan lo mejor de sí para dar vida a esta estupenda serie.

Una oportunidad magnífica para este verano de ver una, seguro, magnífica serie dramática.

Sinopsis

Gira en torno a Alice Hart, una joven que pierde trágicamente a sus padres en un misterioso incendio.
