The Dive is a 2023 German-British thriller film directed by Maximilian Erlenwein and starring Louisa Krause and Sophie Lowe. The film follows two sisters who go diving at a remote location, only to be separated by a landslide. One of the sisters is trapped 28 meters below the surface, and the other must race against time to save her.

The film premiered at the Munich Film Festival on July 27, 2023.

About the Movie

Maximilian Erlenwein’s suspenseful movie features an experienced diver, who is confined underwater, and her estranged sister becomes her only hope of survival. The detailed plot is logical and believable, however, it might have been more marketable if it had a bit more of an adrenaline-filled vibe.

The Dive (La inmersión) es una película de suspense germano-británica de 2023 dirigida por Maximilian Erlenwein y protagonizada por Louisa Krause y Sophie Lowe. La película sigue a dos hermanas que van a bucear a un lugar remoto, sólo para ser separadas por un deslizamiento de tierra. Una de las hermanas queda atrapada a 28 metros de profundidad y la otra debe correr contra el tiempo para salvarla.

La película se estrenó en el Festival de Cine de Múnich el 27 de julio de 2023.

The Dive est un film thriller germano-britannique de 2023 réalisé par Maximilian Erlenwein et interprété par Louisa Krause et Sophie Lowe. Le film raconte l’histoire de deux sœurs qui partent plonger dans un endroit isolé, mais qui sont séparées par un glissement de terrain. L’une des sœurs se retrouve piégée à 28 mètres de profondeur et l’autre doit faire une course contre la montre pour la sauver.

Le film a été présenté pour la première fois au festival du film de Munich le 27 juillet 2023.

Le film à suspense de Maximilian Erlenwein met en scène une plongeuse expérimentée qui se retrouve confinée sous l’eau et dont la sœur, dont elle est séparée, devient son seul espoir de survie. L’intrigue détaillée est logique et crédible, mais le film aurait pu être plus commercialisé s’il avait eu un peu plus d’adrénaline.
