For those who love speed and thrilling heist movies, this film delivers as it delves into the underworld of cargo theft and the protagonist’s journey to redemption.

Exciting, well-structured, and with appropriate character development, this movie aims to capture the essence of films like “Fast & Furious” while keeping its ambitions modest. Film Review

From the start, this movie confesses that it won’t offer anything groundbreaking. It’s a product designed for entertainment and fun, built upon classic elements found in racing stories. With a bigger budget, it could have been a different film altogether, but “Overhaul” holds its ground with a good storyline, a well-supported central character, and a plot that will be easily forgotten.

It has its charm and enters the race track well-versed in the lessons learned from countless car racing movies and coming-of-age tales. Along the path of delinquency, the protagonist encounters tragedy and learns a valuable life lesson, leading to self-discovery and possibly triumph, love, or maturity – that something which gives meaning to the film.

And most importantly, the movie delivers impressive and well-executed action scenes, complemented by skillful editing and impactful sound effects reminiscent of “Days of Thunder.

Our Opinion

While we occasionally long for more Hollywood elements in certain moments, “Overhaul” holds its own as an enjoyable and straightforward entertainment product.

It strikes a perfect balance.
