The rest, following the traditional and good practices of marketing, which has become almost a religion for studios nowadays.
Good performances in a comedy that rarely ceases to be funny. When it does, it breaks away from its lighthearted style, but does so with narrative purpose. Thanks to an intelligent and well-executed script that has introduced and developed the characters, “Happy Ending” becomes an attractive movie. Of course, its main appeal lies in the sexual component.
Do not expect an erotic film, as it is more about emotions and characters. It revolves around a more or less exceptional situation that leads the protagonists to reconsider their lives. It leans more towards romance than comedy, striking a good balance between the two without veering into excessive humor or diving fully into romance or intimacy.
It refrains from preaching or judging the characters, avoiding excessive drama or sentimentality, and approaches things with a calm narrative pace.
