The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh is a two-part animated fantasy film of Japanese origin. It is based on the manga series called The Seven Deadly Sins, which was both written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki. This film serves as the third and fourth installments in the series, succeeding the films Prisoners of the Sky (2018) and Cursed by Light (2021). The film is directed by Bob Shirahata. It is written by Rintarō Ikeda.
The first part of the film was released on December 20, 2022, and the second part followed on August 8, 2023. The story takes place 14 years after the events of the main series and revolves around Tristan, the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth. Tristan struggles to control his powers, which stem from both the Demon Clan and the Goddess Clan. As his mother’s life becomes endangered, Tristan embarks on a journey to Edinburgh to seek the assistance of Deathpierce, a former Holy Knight.
Premise
