For some people, it is short; for some others, very long; for God, the eternity.

The night was beautiful, full of brilliant stars over a calm sea and water reflections on a gleaming Moon.
The flat path ran along the coast until the forgotten lighthouse, old and abandoned but still upright on the shore to remind quiet times in a silent kingdom:  wet whispers.

You may know the maiden princess by the name of Annabel Lee.

Under the shadow of the lighthouse, it was a small house with a burning candle on the window-sill and a half-open main door.
-This time will be the last one –Edgar said with the typical accent of a heavy drinker-. Never again! From now on, I’ll behave but you should help me for old times. I need you!
Anna looked at him steadily, trying to understand…, beyond his words.
-It was a bad hand in the last moment and the game was over! I cannot believe it since I had been in luck throughout the night. Never again! –Edgar repeated sorely.
-It has been always the last hand –Anna talked deliberately, looking for a moment of understanding on Edgar’s face- Just excuses!
